Ben and Kameron wanted an engagement session filled with the activities that they enjoy together, so after a pit-stop to romp around the trees in Malibu Creek State Park, we documented some fun, sporty, love-filled competitions on the gorgeous grounds of Pepperdine University in Malibu where Ben works as senior project manager of capital projects.

This image perfectly captures Kameron’s two loves: Ben and her Valentinos.

Ben was more interested in pestering the ducks than practicing his golf swing.

Then Kameron joined in on the fun!

Kameron is victorious after in an intense, ocean view bocce ball match.

Ben carries Kameron away to soothe his golf and bocce ball losses with a tasty pizza and beer dinner.

I’ve been caught rewinding Sprint Nextel’s “film crews” wedding commercial and laughing out loud each time. How fitting that I first saw the commercial the day after I documented Frank and Kasey’s beautiful wedding at Wayfarer’s Chapel, the glass chapel in Rancho Palos Verdes where the commercial was filmed. Who needs a film crew when you have a perfect day and a match-made-in-heaven couple who lets you unobtrusively follow them around with your camera? Frank and Kasey have a creative, passionate love for one another, and it showed in everything from their heartfelt vows, to the reception decor, to they way they held each other. I look forward to seeing this couple change the world through the joy and love they bring to others.

Observing Frank and Kasey is like watching a real-life romantic movie – but one that’s more genuine and beautiful than anything a “film crew” can drum up.

Who needs a “stunt groom” when funny and fine Frank is around? Hubba, hubba.

Frank’s vows took Kasey from emotional tears to laughter when he heartfully weaved the word “zombie” in his vows. Frank is so cool. I teared up. For real.
